Raising Impact acts as a strategic bridge between three pillars: intentional philanthropists, expert implementers, and the existing body of evidence. Rather than prescribing priorities, we meet the ecosystem where it is. We provide structured, context-sensitive advisory, grounded in rigorous research and sector expertise, to ensure philanthropic capital reaches its most effective destination.

Our Mission

To maximize the impact of every dollar spent.

Raising Impact undertakes rigorous cause-area research, conducts state-level and sector-level analyses, engages subject-matter experts and on-ground organisations, and applies structured processes to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and scalability of interventions. Drawing on global models such as Founders Pledge and GiveWell, Raising Impact adapts these analytical frameworks to the Indian context, intending to expand across Asia.

Our journey so far.

Three engagements. Three cause areas. A discipline of finding cost-effective philanthropy where the evidence is thinnest and the leverage is highest.

01 ECCE Pilot · Maharashtra

The Richest State, Poor Child Wellbeing.

Our pilot in Early Childhood Care & Education exposed Maharashtra's paradox: India's wealthiest state, yet failing on key child-development indicators, and has significantly low philanthropic pool.

02 Farmer Livelihoods · Aug '25

Four stages. One 477× grantee.

A strategic engagement with an independent philanthropist (Aug 2025) to lift incomes of marginal and smallholder farmers — focused on horticulture, high-value crops and allied sectors. We designed a four-stage grant call to surface mid-sized NGOs in priority states.

03 Women's Empowerment · In Progress

Defining the frontier before funding it.

We are in the early stages of a new engagement — partnering with an independent philanthropist to establish a definition and framework for women's empowerment, identify areas of need, and pinpoint where philanthropic capital can have maximum leverage.
